Pretty much done with Christmas shopping. For whatever reason, my wife didn't want to accompany me today so I did all my shopping at Cabelas and Duluth Trading (what I haven't done already over the internet). Pretty sure my son, nephew and brother will be happy, but don't know about the women folk. Oh well, not my fault without someone to guide me. A nice hint for y'all and asking for advice.

Hint: When you buy a Duluth Trading gift card they knock 15% off the price. A $100 gift card costs $85 but the recipient only knows they got a $100 card. Sure the stuff is overpriced, but they sell really quality stuff. For example I have a pair of Boar's Hide shoes that I've worn for work at FEMA and when I was doing Code Enforcment work part time and I've had them for at least 25 years and they are still my FEMA shoes and have wear left. Honestly, just some saddle soap every now and then and they are just now showing some wear. The underwear I've bought from there is the same way.

OK, now I need some recommendations. My daughter just bought a new Toyota Rav4 for herself and I want to get her something for it in the $200 or so range. Right now some Weathertech floor mats is at the front of the list unless one of y'all have a better idea. If it comes with XM radio, which I'm sure it does, maybe a year subscription to that. That way, every year I can already know what to get her.

Car wash kit. You can buy them as a kit or pick and choose to put one together yourself.
Buckets (1 soap 1 rinse), wash mitts, wash soap, wax/polish, spray quick detailer, good microfiber cloths, applicator pads, drying towels, interior wipes, good glass cleaner, maybe even a foam cannon if she washes often.

Get her a dash cam for recording traffic. Especially useful for the asshole who sideswiped you. I got my daughter one and she likes it especially in the high traffic area she is working.

Battery jump starter, but she would appreciate the mats or the window tint more!

Look at rough country for those mats. I’ve always had weather tech until now for this truck I went rough country at less than half the wether tech price. Look like they rolled out of the same factory in China

Good ideas guys. Keep em coming. I like the Rough Country idea. That way she can get those and something else. I don't like a tinted vehicle (too hard to see out of after dark) so that probably isn't going to happen.

Might think of one of those DeWalt jump boxes that also has an air pump.

Noco Boost jump box is awesome. Emergency kit with space blanket, first aid, etc is also good.

Does she work or live in an area that has an automatic car wash with free vacuums? A years pass to one of those and she can keep it clean.

Every vehicle at my house has a Kobalt air compressor in it.
Air compressor is a great gift.
