I thought it was pretty telling when the camera panned on Milroe after the first pick and he was in the WR section throwing a hissy fit and then he came right back out and threw a Pick 6. Anyone who believes he’s a legit contender for a Heisman this year or any year for that matter, is completely delusional.

The reason he was fussing at the receiver was because of the piss poor effort on his block. This was the reason he threw the pick. I don’t understand fans sometimes. They get mad if he sits on the bench and don’t say nothing, they call it a hissy fit when he does. Dang man, you don’t even know what he was saying. He might have been telling the kid he’s better than that and to keep his head up and keep fighting.

Milroe was spiraling down in Q1 and Q2 and the more they shut him down, the more frustrated he got. He flat out quit after the pick 6. You could see it iin his eyes, on his face, and in his effort, or complete lack thereof, in his attempt to make the tackle. Yes it was on the WR for not making the block but that’s the risk you run when you call that play. And sometimes that happens. That’s just football. QBs and leaders have to get past it and bring the team with them.
