Probably will not go saturday cause forecast here says light and variable wind and me being hard headed i hav challenged that many times over the e years and the result is always 100% snort fest!
But when i go - think i taking my Remington model 700 270 i got back in 1985 and my new Bergara 308 will be next up

270 Winchester ... I have used the same rifle for that last 35 years .... I don't think love or money could ever make me take anything else. I have taken well over 100 deer with it. Killed 'em with bow, muzzleloader and a 20 ga slug gun (for the short period I lived in Virginia) .. but this 270 is my favorite.
