It isn't for what kind of music but how you listen to music. I got tired of XM running their soup coolers instead of just playing music. They are just as bad as a AM/FM station sometimes.
I signed up for Pandora, got me a veterans discount and can design my own channels. Downside is that you usually need a good cellular / WiFi connection. That being said, it's cheaper than XM and I can filter out the BS.
Also I miss that station that was up around Guntersville maybe about 10 years or so ago. Catfish Country I think was their callsign. They played some good old country. Another was 810 in Piedmont / Jacksonville. Chattanooga had one too, maybe they still do.
Anyways, just wanted to put that out there as an option.
