Just want yalls opinion, Going to Tx the 2nd week in Dec. Bought a Browning Abolt 7mm08 a few months back and love the rifle. Got it in the black at a 100yds I was told we could be faced with shots out to 250 I have a 270 that I have killed most all of my deer with. What would you guys be most comfortable with. We get a buck. doe and a hog

Everything else being equal, they’re both more than adequate.

Flip a quarter and let that be your decision

I’d take the 270 with 140 grain accubonds.

Both are more than enough for anything inside 250. I'd go with the one I'm most comfortable with if you have a chance at a trophy. Sounds like the 270.

I like my 7mm-08, that's what I would take. Why not take both and use each one to kill something with.
