Where you are going I highly doubt you run into many liberals. Rural Illinois folk are the salt of the earth kinda folks and are all pro Trump. If it wasn't for the large areas you would never know a democrat exists in the Midwest in general from my dealings with them. Crab Orchard/ Carbondale IL, home of Southern Illinois University aka the fighting Saluki's. That town looks like an ugly walk everyday. Some weirdos. Last trip we stayed 25 min north in a little town called Johnson City. Now it was a nice little town full of normal folks.
Its not the will to win but the will to prepare to win!
