Thankfully they're not my immediate neighbor and live on around in the subdivision.....but there's this one house that has a dog that barks ALL the time.....I've had the door open all morning and he hasnt shut up since daylight......"Arrrrrrgh!!!!...........Arrrrrrgh!!!!........Arrrrrgh!!!!"........What the heck folks??......If I lived right next to them I'd probably be having words.....

People are dumber than the dogs. Deal with this crap around me as well. I can't stand it when my dog barks and i make her shut up. Don't understand how people can in their house and ignore that, I don't care if it is middle of day it still annoying as heck.

There has to be a correlation between low IQ and dogs that bark incessantly.

I’ve posted before about the people that live not far from our north property line. They have 3 dogs that start barking at daylight and bark constantly all day long till dark. It’s going on 4 years now. It’s obnoxiously loud on north wind days and of course my favorite place to hunt has to have a north wind to hunt. I know it doesn’t bother the deer but I’m not sure how those people or their neighbors deal with all that constant barking. There’s nothing I’d like more than to walk up and shoot all 3 in the face with buckshot. And I’m a dog person!! I’ve thought about going talk to them but judging by the shape of the place I’d better just leave it alone.

It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

I feel your pain. My neighbor has about 15 coon dogs which are howling at least 50% of the time. Thank gawd they are about 300 yards away and I can’t hear them in the house. The real pain in my arse is their pet yard dog. It gets in our trash regularly and I had my third and last discussion with the owner about it a couple of days ago. They were put on notice that from now on if I pick up trash in my yard they will be picking it up from theirs. Last week it busted out of the woods while my wife was walking the dog and scared her and freaked out my dog, which was on a leash as dogs are supposed to be.So I also shared how dangerous it was to let your dawg roam, what with snakes, and hogs and coyotes. One of my biggest concerns when the house went on the market was it would end up with someone who has the very wrong idea that “ I bought a couple acres in the country, ain’t it great my dog has hundreds of acres to roam.” And I would be faced with a very very difficult decision which I have not had to make in a lot of years.

Folks with unruly dogs have unruly kids. Raising dogs and raising kids have lots of similarities.

I don’t live in a neighborhood so fortunately I don’t have to live near idiots with unruly dogs.

You have 2 choices, come on here and whine about it OR go to your neighbor and address the issue.

Ours barks for about 5-10 seconds when it hungry which is only once/day - no way i would let that go on for hours

Mine being old - she has not barked in weeks - miss that its time to eat bark 😀

But for the dogs that just keep barking - drive me nuts

I've had two coon hounds behind my house that made everyone miserable. They'd start anytime they heard a siren, but didn't really need a reason. My newest neighbor has two dogs. They bark a lot, but aren't as loud as the other two. Now, my two large go down to the fence line and bark back at his two. I'll let it go for a minute if I see the original barking dog neighbor out, just because the original barking dog neighbor yelled about it when it inconvenienced him. He's reaping what he sowed. But I bring them in and shut them down most of the time. I don't care for a dog that will just bark for no damned reason.

Strychnine and hamburger. Works on coyotes.

In today's time, with the technology available. There's no reason for this to be an issue.

I deal with the same thing
Have a neighbor with Great Pyrenees and that’s all this dog does from the time they let it out in the mornings
For right now we can’t enjoy being on our back patio because of this
I bought a bark suppressor that emits subsonic sound but it has no effect on that dog

Whoever invented the doorbell didn’t own dogs. Saw that on a pop up add for a veterinarian and thought it was funny.
