What the heck this new format is either awful or confusing. I can’t find too or landowner info etc anywhere anymore. It just has my general hunting area.

Yeah if they don’t get some of the bugs worked out of it I’ll prolly switch to onyx. Loved HuntStand before this last upgrade

I emailed them the other day and they know it sucks and are working on it. Seen people complaining on one of the fb deer hunting pages also. Why they would launch such a large revamp during the start of bow seasons across the country when people need it most is beyond me.

I did the upgrade and to find landowner info, I went to layers and then clicked on overlays......there's a Property Info button that I had to turn on to green and was able to access landowner property that way......there are other buttons that you can turn on also.....

Why in the hell something works just fine and u change it and have to dig and stand on one foot while trying to find something now is beyond me. Pure stupidity the way it’s setup now. Take something easy and make it hard makes no sense.

I’ve emailed them on a few issues with the upgrade. They acknowledged they were aware and working on it. I actually run both HuntStand and Onyx. My HuntStand renews Nov 1st. Not sure I’m going to keep it. Before the upgrade I couldn’t see myself getting rid of it in order to keep the difference in satellite images of onyx vs HuntStand (time of year). But this new upgrade to HS is awful. Onyx is my much preferred app now. I also agree that to change the entire platform right smack before hunting season was just plain dumb. I imagine some folks going on out of state hunts are a little upset.

I have always considered Onyx for out west public lands. HuntStand for private timber lands. Huntstand updates satellite imagery more often such as new clear cuts.

New update is definitely different and no more updating weather yourself. Done automatically every day. Now they include a 10 day forecast .

I’m still trying to figure it out. It’s taken me a month to half ass figure it out. To look at peoples property go to maps then hit overlays and you will turn on the setting to property info. The screwed that site up bad I hope they do something with it

It’s funny I sent them a message and they said thank u for ur feedback and here are the directions for our app that wasn’t broke that they decided to fix lol. Seems like that’s all these app services do is over think stuff. Basically they don’t give a shitt wether we like it or not.
