Like low wall said its pretty common on the rivers and some private lakes to build homes on leased lots.
You insure mobile homes in mobile home parks where you dont own the land.
This cabin could be moved and doesnt have a foundation like a house does.
I had a similar structure on land not my own insured a few years back. Tornado damaged it, insurance paid for that. This was with same agent but now he says cant get another policy like that.
I've talked to a few people with the least river lights and they gave me a couple of contacts that I'm going to try. They said they had no problem getting insurance on the leased lots.
