Yep. And after all that, Saban still found a way to make it to the 4 team playoff.

I’m hoping the defense gets some stops on that crappy offense and can give the offense some more opportunities. Maybe they can protect a little better. Milroe is gonna get dinged up if they don’t.

UT by double digits. Josh Heipel will destroy that defense we have. He’s playing chess. We playing Candy Land. Bingo!! You know it’s bad when former players are so critical of the defensive scheme. If the offense plays like they did against Georgia, it could be a horse race but that Tenn offense is going to embarrass the alabama D. What Tennessee offense do You speak of? Tennessee run up the score on teams they played before the SEC play started. Tennessee’s offense has not looked good against SEC teams.

First let me say Im not a bama hater, but Bama’s defense is rated 57th nationally. My point was it is former bama players saying this stuff. They are the ones saying bama is running a D2 type defense. Is there any other D1 team that runs a 4-3-5 defense? (There may be but I dont know of one) Maybe it is the youth in the secondary….But after watching the Tenn QB sling it and their receivers , Im afraid they will out pace Bama’s secondary. But who knows, if the Bama offense is on Saturday, it’ll be a high scoring game. Bottom line is, does anyone have confidence in the Alabama defense?

4-3-5? Mean 4-2-5. He ran that at South Alabama, everyone remind me how high SA defense always ranked. The other problem is the 4 up front can’t get to the qb and get him down. They escape, run for a first or throw for one. The defense has to hope the offense makes a mistake, they are having trouble on their own.

Bammer should be ranked higher than 57th if they're playing 12 on defense.

Deboer needs to learn what to say at press conferences. He says nothing during the game. Maybe that should be his thing at press conferences as well. You can’t go and say I’ve coached at Washington. I’m used to noise. The crowd noise at Tennessee shouldn’t be an issue for us. That place will be rocking now more than before.

The young db's ain't missing tackles, tackling FORWARD, losing contain or getting absolutely trucked at the los like the d line and linebackers are.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

I’ve tres to find another D1 school that runs that defense but haven’t found one yet. But out of those 5 db’s. How many are freshman? They call it the swarm defense but it doesn’t appear the have the “swarm” part quite down yet.

as bad as ua's linebackers tackle...they'd be just as well off to put 8 on the line like they did at the end of game the other day, the whole game.
