Didn't just lose. Got dominated. Look at stats Vandie had the ball for 2/3 of the game. Time of possession will get you beat. Vandy never trailed and they controlled the game. Congratulations to them.

Congratulations to them. Yep, several on here have said it multiple times this year. Consistent, Long sustained drives eat up the clock, rest your defense and win games. Itās the same in all sports. Most of the time, explosive teams live, and die, by the big play. Sustained drives give your defense a chance to rest, regroup and make adjustments. Just like in baseball, home runs are great, impressive, and fun to watch, but a team full of .300 avg, consistent base hitters, will win way more games than a team with a couple HR champs. Iām not down on the HC or DC. Thank the Lord that Deboer went out and brought Williams back into the fold, after he decommitted, and that Williams is on this team. Without him, Bama might be toting 2 additional losses at this point. He alone accounts for half of Bamaās total passing yards and most of that is on yards heās generated, all on his own, after catch. Like I said in another thread. The portal, the lax transfer rules, and NIL has indeed brought parity back to college football. It now truly is, any given Saturday now in the SEC. Congrats to Vandy. They watched what Ga did in the second half and played a clean game, Becks 4 turnovers were the difference in that game and the Vandy QB played lights out and did not make those same mistakes.
