At first I was thinking like many that the stories about FEMA and people getting arrested for bringinsupplies, and FEMA only accepting money, and so on could just be internet b.s.
But it appears very real and very bad.
And then Kamala with the insulting $750 STFU check.

I actually saw a video today of a lady in east TN fussing about that very thing. She said that they are perfectly willing to help themselves and accept help from those who are willing to help and that if FEMA/TEMA (TN emergency management) was going to be like that then they should just move on and let them self-govern.

Back during the aftermath of Hurricane Rita, everything food related delivered to the area was supposed to go through the Red Cross and or FEMA. It wasn’t because Red Cross of FEMA wanted this, it was the people contracted to furnish meals through these agencies wanted it like that because they would get paid by meal delivered. It didn’t take our parish officials to cut that to a drip and let people and church groups furnish great hot meals to all the workers in certain areas where the other agencies weren’t at. Workers had to travel to a central location to get the meals from the government agencies. Some had to travel 15-20 miles away from their work areas. Government agencies were the biggest slowdown in the storms that we had.
It's hard to kiss the lips at night that chews your a$$ all day long.

I saw a video of a woman saying that FEMA/TEMA were commandeering the supplies and carrying them to a warehouse to be doled out as they see fit. Sounds almost Gestapo like. Also saw where one trucker that made one of the first deliveries of water could not believe his eyes when he opened the truck. All of the water had been Harris - Waltz wraps or stickers on them. He said this isn’t about the election Dem or Rep but imagine how much faster that delivery could have gotten there without that.

Just saw a clip of Mayorkas on the news saying that FEMA doesn’t have the funds to mitigate this disaster and the next potential storm. Immediately after that clip was a table showing that the current administration has siphoned off over a billion dollars of FEMA funds for migrants in the last two years.

This just goes to show just who our fed gov cares about . There is local helicopter pilots from shoals area up there helping folks get out . One said he had to refuel at Asheville airport 4 times a day . Military copters sitting there an he ask them wth? They don’t have orders to leave yet . What a freaking disaster our fed government is . Local people helping others is the only way this gonna get solved . Pilot said there many folks back in hills gonna die if they don’t get more helicopters up . Only way to get to them .
