Property owners could only use FEMA approved contract labor to help clear debris, out of their own pockets. It was a disgrace. we had something similar happen here. But we called the non contract labor, looters. kinda joking but serious at the same time. The looters were the first to arrive. Then the looters pretended to be workers when the cops set up to keep the looters out. It got hard to tell if the van full of migrants with a trailer were worker or looters or both. Its a damn shame really.

I believe this administration is doing anything they can to ignite civil unrest on the right. They want us to rise up so they can use the military against us and suspend the election. They know what they are doing and it isn't because they are incompetent.

A lot of the serious looters are coming in with uniforms and vehicle dressings and gear that looks official. They may actually appear to be helping people but they are really stealing when folks are not looking.

They would have never got this going if Sessions hadn't "recused" himself and stopped Russia Gate before it got started. Instead he let it roll and we are reaping 8 years of Democrats growing increasingly out of Control in the name of stopping DJT. 1/2 of America still thinks he is possibly a Russian Agent or some other ludicrous crap CNN told them.

does the firedept have the authority to arrest someone? I think there might be a handfull with that authority, but I doubt the guy doing the threatening had cuffs Snip from article a senior official with the local fire department told him he would arrest him

A lot of EMT's are deputized just for large scale emergencies. Fire Chiefs usually are deputized just for the matter of being able to enforce fire codes. That way they do not have to call an officer to serve citations and do day-to-day stuff.

But I wouldnt of argued with them. I'd of just went on about my business.

FEMA is very beauracratic and thus always slow to get anything done. I see this all the time. They have tons of big trailers already loaded with water, blankets, etc. just waiting for a Kenworth to hook up and go, but that doesn't happen overnight. It should, but it doesn't.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
