Who is the member that lives on Peridido Bay? My brother and SIL live at the end of Innerarity Point. He's in Europe working and she decided to ride it out. I was wondering what the Bay was like? Everything must be OK because my brother messaged us that if it stalls over us in TN like predicted we are welcome to do a reverse evacuation and go visit them.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Western North Carolina amd Tennessee are bad! They said all Western NC roads are considered closed. No driving unless an emergency. One hospital had people on the roof waiting to be rescued.

Windy and rain in MO (probably going to flood a little). I sure some of our roads will have to be reworked and will probably have some trees to cut out.

Several pictures of bucks moving on my cameras. But, I don't hunt the rain these days. Used to love it.... not so much anymore

Bay water level should be a bit lower...being on the west side of the storm, the p'cola area got winds from the north which usually pushes the water out

Weather in Mobile has been great yesterday and today...cooler and less humid

It was a bit windy and cloudy yesterday but today it has been absolutely beautiful. We have the shop door open today.

The angle this system approached the mountain range I knew every bit of moisture it had in it would dump on that spot. I figured it would be bad, but when its done I bet it sets a lot of records.
So far, the last count I saw from the time of landfall to now is 46 fatalities.

Mikes Weather Page posted this from Cedar Island, Perry County, near Keaton Beach. 100+ houses gone. https://x.com/tropicalupdate/status/1839765454119940342

Hopefully the roads you mentioned aren’t county maintained. From what I’ve seen they just let that asphalt turn to gravel over time.
