Unfortunately I am serious. Like I said pray

That place will be completely underwater with 100mph + wind on current track; he does not need money to go to nearest shelter inland.
Hope they can change his mind! Call the local Sheriff's office , maybe?

Just saw DeSantis announce FREE Uber rides to a shelter; get him the info. They are going under water

Thank goodness it is still struggling to get organized and has two eyewalls. Predicted intensity at landfall has dropped again. I like this trend. The predicted track shifted considerably Eastward.

Looks like we are going to dodge a bullet in West and Central Alabama. Will still get some good rain out of it which we could use.

I approve of that message. I dealt with 4 hurricanes in my Florida days and they are miserable.

Wife has family in S. GA, said they have already had 6” of rain. Wind and storm haven’t shown up yet either. Gunna be a mess when that soggy ground gets hit with 100mph winds

Well crap. Looks like it has now got its core structure issue resolved and is rapidly intensifying. The tropical storm wind field is 345 miles on the East side. That is a huge wind field. What might save lives is that it does not have much time in this well structured state before landfall.

Storm prediction. The Western side of North Carolina is going to get the worst of this storm. Prediction estimates say the NC hills are going to get 12-18" of rain with TS force winds, all coming down the mountain range. That is going to be a big mess.

It is looking more and more that way. I hope there are enough locals up there that remember the lessons they learned from hurricane Opal.

My wife left Nashville early heading to her parents in Turtletown TN which is in the very SE corner of the state, five miles from both NC and GA. They going to have a rough time because there is a big creek a quarter mile up the driveway before you go up the mountain.

Text Mom and told her about this again. Her response was that he is an old Hippy and He is determined to stay. I told her to say goodbye and Pray because this will likely be his last bad decision. He could be doing this on purpose as his way out. I dont know the man, I just hope he's right with his Maker.

For a bit, the surge for Perdido might be a couple feet in the negative.
