According to the rule of law, Refugee programs have to be proposed by the president and then formally ratified and specifically approved by Congress. Refugee programs are supposed to be specific in nature and presented to Congress prior to initiation. To the best of my knowledge, that second requirement has never been officially met for any of what has gone on for the past 4 years. The Biden administration proposed it by simply bringing them in, secretly, on chartered flights, in the dead of night, as well as just opening the borders and failing to adhere to proper/established admissions requirements for asylum seeker either. By definition, not formally being approved by Congress in writing, they are illegal. Just like the student loan forgiveness and a ton of other things that the Biden administration has just taken upon themselves to do without following the law and going through the proper processes and procedures.
