I just turned on news and they are arguing over funding money, or the government shuts down. Yall reckon if they quit wasting our money we would not be in this shape? We run on a budget around my house been working pretty good for us for 41 years. I guess the only way we will do anything is when they buy rifles and start poaching !!!

Baldwin County isn't a cheap place to live. Good luck to them. Sad situation for all. But hopefully the Democrats in Baldwin Cty will take them in.

There are no benefits like hotels, cash back, rental cars etc. Nowhere on that site says anything about that. Also, they do say where to apply...its called being on unemployment. Also, these things were issued when all the cash was being handed out by the govt around COVID...if you didnt have a bank account associated with a tax return they would issue you one of these.

What are some of the benefits and services I can receive as a Cuban/Haitian Entrant?
Some Cuban/Haitian Entrants are eligible to apply for federal mainstream benefits in their state, such as
cash assistance through Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families
(TANF), health insurance through Medicaid, and food assistance through Supplemental Nutrition
Assistance Program (SNAP). If you are not eligible to receive these mainstream benefits, you can be
screened for eligibility at a state government benefits office or the closest resettlement agency in your
state for the following ORR benefits and services:

What Happens When Refugees Arrive?
Upon arrival in the United States, refugees are met by a staff or volunteer from the local resettlement affiliate, private sponsors, or a family member or friend. They are taken to their initial housing, which has essential furnishings, appropriate food, and other necessities.

The resettlement agencies, family and friends, or private sponsors assist refugees during their initial resettlement in the United States, including enrolling in employment services, registering youth for school, accessing medical care, applying for benefits as eligible, and connecting them with necessary social or language services. In coordination with publicly supported refugee service and assistance programs, resettlement agencies and private sponsors focus on assisting refugees to achieve economic self-sufficiency through employment as soon as possible after their arrival in the United States.

It ain't just the Dims, they have faithful allies in the RINOs. Add them together with thousands of unaccountable, faceless bureaucrats in the alphabet agencies, the media and corporate "elites" and it all adds up to the deep state. That's the alliance trying to destroy America. Some of them think they are going to rule the world, but I've got news for them, they aren't in the last chapter of the Book.

I did, there is nothing there that says they are "getting any hotel, cash back or auto rental" benefits. Did you forget what you typed up?

How is this card any different from the govt mailing (or direct depositing) you your unemployment check (what the card is designed for along with that sweet Trump Covid cash). You could cash it or withdraw it and spend it on whatever you wanted to. The govt issuing you a card "without restrictions" is the same thing as the paper check. Regardless, there is absolutely nothing in the FAQ that suggest there are any benefits to this card like there is your typical credit card. Nobody is getting points for hotels, rentals or cash back bonuses with these things.

Which gov agency do you work for?

Huh? What exactly does pointing out that the news outlet that originally published the Baldwing County Haitain story later clarified key details suggests i work for the govt?

I may not know shucks from Shinola, this is a fair assumption. What i do know is that someone posted an article in this thread from 1819 news, who broke the story about Haitain immigrants flooding Baldwin County and used the job postings from 5 years ago as evidence. These are the same job postings that OP screen shot from a FB post. The news site later clarified and apologized for their mistake. I simply posted that they clarified the story. Why does this upset you so much?

The FBI posted it back in 2018, it appears to be a open/continuous position.

I was meaning that the card was free money to use with no restrictions. I never said there were rewards with the card. The benefits I mentioned were that it wasn’t for sole use for essentials such as food only.

You said they weren't getting those benefits. I took this info directly from the gov't website that says they are getting the benefits that Yellalinehunter was writing about. Point is you were calling him out. I don't care about 1776 news or whatever that was. But, Haitians are getting free housing, food, and spending money on the backs of taxpayers. Many are pulling money from Social Security and other sources that our gov't can't seem to increase for our own citizens.

You were trying to cleverly talk around that....or you are just uninformed.

Oh ok. Yeah, its an unemployment check in the form of the card. No different than getting the unemployment check mailed to you or a direct deposit.

Nope. Never said that anything about "they werent getting those benefits", you seem to have propped up my post with a straw man.

If you followed the context of the conversation, i was just correcting what Yellah had said about the link he quoted. He said there were benefits to the card in the form of cash back, rental cars and hotels and there was nothing in the link he quoted that suggested that. He later clarified that he was saying that they *could be used for it. Which again, sure, unemployment benefits can be used for whatever.

Nobody is arguing this, not sure how you got off on this tangent. Yes immigrants utilize govt programs that are funded with tax payer dollars, this is not news. What is "news" is that the 1819 website posted BS info about Haitian flooding Baldwin County based on 6 year old job postings...hence the thread.

Go look into Catholic Charities and the United Way, and see where their money is coming from. You might figure out why the pope thinks deny illegals entry is a sin.
