The idiots at KMOB pissed me and a few other folks off so we started our own wather page. I’m in. Thank you. We are in the cone, so I’m paying close attention. Hopefully y'all will be good. We just really won't know anything concrete for y'all until it makes landfall. That's another variable too. Once it makes landfall and scoots around the upper level low to the west, it'll turn north and NW. When that will happen is up in the air at this point, but when it has a NW trajectory the dynamic forcing will make the worst of the winds be on the NW quadrant of the storm, instead of the east which is usually the case.

Just like Opal in 95, we can't say much until she makes that turn and starts heading full speed North/NE. Just have to keep an eye on it. Forward motion is a certainty though. Wherever the center ends up, damage will be well inland from the coast.

I alerted my daughter in the Atlanta metro area to not get caught up in it and try and stay home. Just cause she can handle stormy driving from growing up down here, most of those folks in Atlanta cannot. 285 and 85-75 junction area could turn into a true death trap as soon as the wrecks start happening. 12 lanes of 100k people trapped in a 4 hour long storm will not turn out well. I drove that shitshow last Friday. NEVER again.

Im between Tallahassee and perry. I'm hoping for the best... You'll probably experience the worst of it bud. The good thing is, it won't last long. Yep they are saying probably a fast moving cat 3. It will be a little breezy but it will lose strength quickly. Tornadoes will be the kicker once it gets a little inland and the hurricane winds are knocked down.

This one looks really bad. Going over a lot of population centers...Tallahassee and south Georgia. Major tree loss, wrecked electrical grid, and roof damage to everything in its path. Costly in the insurance world and that will affect us all.
