I have shot a bunch of Ruger Americans, and they have all shot great. Don't know if it it better than the M77 or not, but if I had to bet a year's salary on the accuracy of a sub-moa rifle for under $1000, I would have a hard time choosing between the Ruger American and the Tikka T3
