My intentions was to go tommorrow evening but those plans have changed. I will be headed up to B-ham in the morning to visit my sister and my 2 month old niece. My niece has been in the Children Hospital there since her birth two months ago and has went through 2 surgeries already. Im gonna head up there and spend a little time with them instead. Might get to go to the woods later in the week. Good Luck to those who are going and be careful/safe out there!

Guess I better get in the habit of checking in when I'm off work. I keep missing stuff.
Had a good couple of days off. Saw deer each time I went in the woods. Had a few does out of range I watched for a while that I would have taken, and also had a couple of does on different sits come in with fawns. If the spots were a little more faded on those fawns - I'd have us some points down. I was able to take a few pics.

I as well had some does come in with fawns, saw 8 deer in 3 sits and didn't get a good opportunity will be back in the woods Monday and Tuesday

I saw 2 does on Monday, and that was it. Did kill a raccoon out of frustration though...

Took my son yesterday afternoon and had two blow at us. Not sure how, but they winded us with the wind blowing in our face. Wind must have been circling around. Maybe next time!

Seen 4 Sunday evening hunt however no shots presented themselves. Gonna go again this afternoon and try again. My buddy shot at a pretty good buck Sunday afternoon but missed judged the yardage and watched the arrow fly over his back. He also saw 3 other deer but didnt have a shot at those. The deer moved pretty early Sunday afternoon in all that wind.

I won't make it back in the woods until Wed afternoon. Was off all week (when it was in the 80s), but was able to get in the woods and see some deer. Thought I was going to get a big doe Saturday afternoon, but a yard dog decided to mess it up for me.
I'm on nights for the next two weeks, so I'll only be able to hunt a couple times before youth weekend. Good luck guys!

If work cooperates, I'll be 25ft up a tree by 2:30 this afternoon. Getting mad at deer, so I plan on hunting all weekend. Good luck to y'all that go this weekend.
