definitely some pre planning. About the time the first wave showed up they already had jobs at the chicken plants. Shortly after, trailers were set up for them out in the country in a trailer park. Then more was bussed in to the hotel in front of walmart. Most people didnt even know the first batch arrived but 2 different people told me about them. Someone at the chicken plant and a family member that was shopping at walmart. This was while the Haiti thing was still in the news.

The chicken plant had already started letting the Latinos go. Under the pretext of not using immigrant labor. This was pre Haiti civil war. They replaced the Latinos with the local thugs and then added the Hiatians to the mix. This has been going on here, for over a year. My best guess is, the word spread quickly after school started and the new classmates showed up. So he's in damage control.

And here we were thinking all the new housing was for the folks who pass through for goings on at Ft. Novosel.

We watched that new mobile home community get put in on 134 between the Dollar General and Boll Weevil Circle which I think is owned by the same folks who own the storage units that are adjacent. I first thought that maybe whoever owned the property was no longer able to make any money in the agriculture world so was looking for other ways to make the property work for them and thought providing additional housing for military would be a smart move. But, now, I am really wondering who is renting there. That area just inside the Circle at that intersection has had a huge residential construction boom the past few years, as well.

around the dollar general on 134 is exactly where I was told they were. Also further out of town on 134. If you was heading towards Enterprise, its the caution light before you get to the DG. On the right. There was already a trailer park there. But after I was told about it, I rode by and sure enough they were clearing lots and adding small trailers.
