I have a 14 Yamaha Viking nothing wrong at all with it, other than being 10 yrs old now. Regular oil etc done on it. I have looked at 2024 Vikings, at around 14k and the CF Moto 1000 that are around 10k, according to what I have read and seen, mine is worth around 5k on trade. Should I entertain a trade or just keep what I have? Yes, mine is paid off. Yes, I would have to finance, but that is not an issue. Just looking for opinions on a 10 year old SXS vs. new one.

Might could sell it outright an do a little better than trade value…i think folks rarely get the good out of a machine..you probly get alot more out of it and i dont think youd see a huge difference if upgrading🤷🏻♂️

Mines a 05 model Polaris Ranger. Ain't no way I'd think of selling it just to buy something newer.

I'm not sure anybody can answer this correctly for you but from my standpoint, I would not purchase a new SxS if I had to finance and especially if I had one that had nothing wrong with it. Just doesn't make good financial sense IMHO.

New ones are pretty until you run it through the woods then it becomes a payment . I have a 2013 ranger and just keep working on it . I would buy a new one if we could run them on the roads like other states but we can’t . Make payments to yourself or until your sxs breaks then use that money to buy a new one ?

If it’s paid for and still reliable, no sense replacing it.

Keep it. But if you decide to get a new one let me know, may be interested in your old one.
I'll even pay the taxes to Skinny!

2012 ranger and it’s holding its own. Only reason I’d sell is the wife is wanting a crew cab for the grands. She ain’t convinced me yet.
