I call my traeger a traeger or grill, it's more simple than saying "my pellet grill" lol.


I just wish people who are bragging about how great that boston butt turned out last weekend would say... on my pellet grill. They say it like they have some skills and then I ask how they smoked it and its.. "oh I put it on my Pit Boss". well great. So your pellet grill smoked it but you didn't do jack. lol


Why do you give a chit how they cooked it? If it was good, it was good.
Does it really matter if they sat with it for several hours and personally monitored the temp and adjusted accordingly, vs the computer in the unit doing the work for them? It's still cooked the same way...low/slow with wood smoke.
The air of snobbery and condescension from self-proclaimed "old school" bbq'ers is a lot more insufferable than the people that refer to their Traeger by name.
