I figured this would go about the way it did. But, this crowd probably has stickers on their trucks of their favorite high end brands too. Maybe even had a salt life sticker at one time. BTW, it took me a while to figure out that it didn't say slut life. Yea, I thought this was a good topic and when I saw 2 pages I thought folks added to the thread. But 90% just didn't get it. Hot Water Heater has nothing to do with your original post. But hey, good try. For me I will add HeyDude shoes... they are Mexican house shoes from the 80s and white dudes are wearing them on dates now to Chilli's. LOL

Go find a mud puddle to play in.  This really stems from having to hang around people trying to show off. We have been to dinner parties the last couple weekends (with the movers and shakers groups) and some of the folks there are exhausting. Most are trying too hard. It is "the keeping up with the Joneses." Nobody I know that is wealthy talks like that, but man...lots of others want to make sure you know "they is fancy." Now I know why my dad would rather get in an argument with my mother than go to the "upper society" parties.

I just made “smash burgers” what should I call them? I didn’t make Pattie’s and cook them on the grill, I measured out 1/3 cup balls and smashed them with parchment paper for about two minutes per side on my new griddle.
Do I call them “ same burgers made in greasy spoon restaurants for 50 years”?
Seems kinda long…..😂
It is just a burger. could call it a hamburger. It really isn't as fancy as you think Should just be a burger. There's no ham in it.

When it dries up outside I'm going to break out my Weedeater. ....fueled with Chevron with Techron to eradicate the Johnson Grass and Timothy Weed in the Black Cow soil growing the Lime LIght Hydrangeas and Knockout Roses, that the Monsanto RoundUp and Ortho Herbioil Surfactant didn't get when sprayed from the RoundUp Backpack Sprayer with a TeeJet Turbo Tip. ...and yes, the Jonses are the popular wanna-be family of materialistic aspirations that so many strive to be cozy with...like a walking, breathing Nascar.

I think the point has been completely missed.
If a guy always referred to his car as "the beamer" over and over (because he has to make sure you know) most on here would think it was annoying. Every story starts with....I was driving down main IN MY BEAMER...
Same goes for yeti, blackstone, Traegers, etc......This was more of a PSA. Don't be that guy.
