It looked like the gun had a fixed front support and a fixed back support. Where does the human experience and control come into play in a fixed stand? I get it with a fixed front support and a human shoulder on the butt-end and skill comes to play. But having a fixed front and rear support seems to take the human out of the equation.

What's that double rail apparatus on top of the scope? I’d imagine part of the scope mount to allow a lot of windage adjustment.
