Looks like they have 10-15,000 off. I’m seeing 4 door 4x4 for 43-45,000.
I think they have the best looking trucks right now, but I’d need 10 year 100,000 BTB warranty I think.

Those are the turbo 4 cylinder engines. Not the v8. Or at least that’s what I been seeing. I drive a new body style Chevy with the 5.3 and love it. Zero problems. But I don’t drive it much. Maybe put 5-7 thousand miles a year on it.

The only GM worth a hoot right now I “think” is the 2500 gas burner with the Allison. Time will tell. The half tons have known issues. The 3.0 baby diesel seems to be pretty good but I won’t touch one until I can get a delete kit for it. Fords will be fords and I don’t mess with ram. That leaves Toyota and Nissan and I think Nissan is doing away with their half ton. I’m not sold on Toyotas turbo engine in the half ton. I’m sure it’s better than the eco boost from Ford but I’m going to give it time. I’m driving what I got until a few things get fixed or changed in the market.

Said it once before, it’s early on but the Colorado I have is great (so far).

If you can get by with a mid size, check it out.

The lots up here are full, they cost too damn much, they can keep em. Expect big discounts soon.

I just picked up two 2024 2500hd duramaxs. I’m convinced there isn’t a great diesel truck, so decided to go with the most comfortable this time around.

44,600 on my 22 GMC 6.2. DFM not active due to chip shortage. Change the oil every 5-6k with Mobil 1 full syn, Wix filters. Change air filter every 25k. Have had zero problems with it. Next one will likely be a Chevy or GMC. And I would absolutely buy an extended warranty unless you change trucks frequently. Bumper to bumper warranty is crucial on these trucks with all these canbus systems running the gadgets. Only thing that really scares me.

That's a really good way to look at it.

I have a 21 GMC 1500 SLT with the 5.3 and the 10spd trans. It had to have an idler pulley at 27k miles, rear pads at 35k miles but other than that it has been a great truck and about to roll 78,000 miles. I just ordered a 25 1500 AT4 3.0 Duramax and look forward to it. Prior to the 21 GMC I had a 20 F150 STX 5.0 and the interior was very comfortable but it had all kinds of electrical issues. None of them are built worth a chit anymore so it's just a gamble if you get one that is decent or not.

I’m done with GM trucks. They’ve known about the mission and lifter problems for years, yet refuse to fix the problem. There’s now a class action lawsuit against them for the missions.

I’ve got a 2023 gmc with 3.0. Had a transmission coolant line bust at 7500 miles. No other issues and have around 14,000 miles now. Had a 2014 gmc before with the 6 speed and it shifted hard from the day I bought it. It was a piece of junk. Do love how they look and ride. But I think the 10 speed transmission is the same as ford. Only time will tell on the transmission but do love the baby diesel. Great mileage even with a leveling kit and 35s

My 2020 3.0 Duramax had 125K+ miles on it when I traded it in for my 2023 3.0 Duramax which now is just shy of 40K miles.

The 20 model did have a couple of issues not related to the transmission that were repaired under warranty. My 23 model has had zero issues so far.

GM has priced themselves out of consideration for me.

so far the 4 cyl turbo's been good. besides saving 5k when buying the truck. you can buy a 4cyl turbo crate engine for half the price of a v8, if you had to. I think the turbomax crates are selling around 4k.

people complain about the price of trucks today, but how did we men go from driving stripped down single cabs with am radio and roll up windows, to demanding crew cabs with auto tail gates. Iam noticing most of these men are using these crew cab compartments as diaper changing stations and nothing more.

A friend of mine bought a Ford Maverick Hybrid. He gets like 40 MPG. He likes it Its the crewcab.
