Just curious if anyone has any suggestions. Im 47. I dont drink or smoke. Iv done manual work my entire life. Therefore I dont care to exercise. Iv never had energy. I always feel sluggish. My body aches. My low T has been corrected with Testosterone. My thyroid and blood work is pretty good. I do have sleep apnea but I am unable to use my machine. I rip it off every night. I eat fairly healthy foods but plenty of junk too. but im overweight. Im 6’2” 250. Im a 38/40 in the waist. Im not exactly fat. Im a pretty solid build. Iv tried various supplements and vitamins etc. Iv actually slept better in the past 1.5 years than I have but I still feel drained. Is it my weight? I know im getting older and overweight but Iv felt like this for several years. Iv even been tested for Lyme disease. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Supplements, vitamins etc? ( iv tried several over the last few years)

Cut out the sugar, get a different c-pap mask and make a better effort with it. Also go donate blood because I bet your iron levels are sky high due to your trt. Oh and this is just my opinion but get out of the bed before the sun comes up and don’t stop till supper time. Stay off the couch and throw the TV in the garbage

Losing weight will help with the sleep apnea and snoring (assuming you snore). Getting rid of sugar is huge also.

There are oral appliances as an alternative to a CPAP. Good second option for those that can't tolerate a CPAP. Be sure to see a dentist that is certified to provide the appliance. Untreated sleep apnea could cause you to feel tired despite getting what you perceive as good sleep. I wear a CPAP and has definitely helped with daytime sleepiness, feeling like I always need a nap.

For the body aches. One make sure you are drinking plenty of water. Two, go to GNC and get a bottle of super magnesium and start taking them. They really helped me with being sore and stiff muscles. The wal mart branded stuff didnt help me at all.

Being sluggish and aching could be many things The advice on quitting the sugars is very good advice I'd highly recommend the carnivore diet for 60 days This will cleanse you system and allow it to start burning fats like it should The fats in your body will store heavy metals which cause these symptoms
When I need expert advice I tend to talk to myself The older I get the better I used to be

Do whatever you have to do and start using your machine for the sleep apnea. It stinks at first but it's worth it. Sleep apnea can do you in several ways. High hemoglobin, heart issues, there's a long list, but what you are describing is textbook for someone who has it. . Losing weight will help you with it but it may not correct it entirely. And just because you are sleeping doesn't mean you aren't having a lot of breathing episodes during the night that you are unaware of.

Start eating carnivore and I’d almost Guarantee you would feel like a new man in 10 days. Couple that with some cardio exercise and correcting your sleep apnea and you would have the key to the mint.

You gotta move around and take your fitnesses seriously, you need to do cardio at a minimum.
All solid advice has been provided above.
We are about the same age the exact moment same height and you are 75-80# heavier than me.
If you cut sugar and most carbs you will drop weight and combined with just walking 1.5 miles daily in cardio zone 2 your weight should improve dramatically. If you add a little weight lifting you should see results

Do the carnivore diet for a couple of months. It helps with energy levels and the aches and pains.
Zero carbs.... I guarantee you that you will feel better.

This right here has been a game changer for me. I’m down 17 pounds in under 4 weeks and I feel so much better with a lot of energy. I used to eat a lot of carbs and sugars during the day. I was always tired and sluggish and couldn’t sleep at night. Switched to carnivore and it all changed for the better.. it’s tough the first week, but great in the long run. Good luck..

Eat a diet rich in whole foods and lean meats. Carnivor, Paleo, South Beach, Zero Carb all those diets are unsustainable. They would be good if you want to kick start a healthy lifestyle but you can't live like that for an extended period of time. Get an app like MyfitnessPal or 1st Phorm and track your food intake, you will be shocked.
Carbs are not generally the issue, Asian cultures eat rice all day. Italians, who drink and smoke in large numbers are healthier than Americans on average. Americans are getting huge amounts of carbs from processed carbs. White bread, Hardee's biscuits, American pasta is also garbage.
You also can't out work a crappy diet and a good diet takes planning. You really have to plan and meal prep for situations like lunch if you are on job sites. You need to prep breakfast instead of a Taco Bell Crunch Wrap.
You are at least 50lbs overweight for your height. I may see yourself as "bulky" but you are not competing in strongman competitions. You are unhealthy at that weight.
If you are unwilling to really make some life changes, I would get on the Ozempic shot. Obesity if the number one reason people don't live into their 80s and 90s. Show me someone 85 or 90 and I guarantee they lived a life where they kept their weight in check.
I would rather smoke, dip, drink, smoke weed, many bad habits rather than be overweight. It's not too late to make a change.

Drink at least a gallon of cold water a day. I have exercise intolerance due to my medical problems but I try and walk up a good sweat everyday I don't know if it helps but I think it makes me feel better.

do carnivore for at least 30 days (first 3-5 days are the hardest). Get on a methylated multi-vitamin. Use Celtic salt in place of regular salt. See how you feel after that, I can assure you you will feel better.
I did carnivore for a month and started the vitamins, lost 30lbs that month. I rarely eat breads now and rarely do sugars either, yes I will cheat but it's not part of my diet like it was.. Feel better overall than I have in yrs. 51 yr old
and whatever you do stay AWAY for seed oils in any form!
