We had a booger in the swamp down in Butler co. Never bothered me. It liked chili dogs. Never would come to the fire. Just sayin.

Some guy told me he had a gnome living under his shed and he was serious. Was it around Fosters? Bankhead. Said it was stealing veggies out of his garden and terrorizing his dog. Said it would sneak up on his dog while he slept on the porch and rip a handful of fur out. Said his dog had bare patches all over from it. Was there one seen near fosters too? He said it was killing his chickens and crapping on his roof too.

My friends brother swears he saw a Rake cross hwy 33 and stop in the middle of the road. It was day time. This last April during Turkey season. His buddy in the passenger seat saw it too. Said it was on all four til it got on hwy 33 and stood up on 2 feet and wouldn't move out of the way so dude went around it and came within a foot of hitting it. Said it was taller than his truck.
The boy got home, told his parents and locked himself in his room for 2wks and wouldn't come out. Said he was crying the whole time.

I am pretty sure I took the picture of the background forest he is using. That is the Conecuh National Forest and that image can be found on the USFS website. I took that image for a report but it was so good I gave it to the USFS publicity department.

My father in law loves tell his story of the time he saw the white thing. Tells the story every time we get near the the state line heading to GA where he claims he saw it and heard it scream. I've heard of a couple of other people say they've seen it, so no telling about the validity of it.
