If the shooter is only 14 years old I don't think the authorities are allowed to release his name or picture.

When are the courts and gov gonna allow LEO to start picking up and putting these folks that are "on their radar" in an asylum for treatment/rehab/monitoring? When the constitution is suspended and we no longer have any rights. I'm all for better diagnosis and treatment for the mentally ill but I don't trust my government enough to give them an ounce more power or discretion.

If I understand this two Sros approached him and he gave up. My question is why was this killer not injected with lead? I know that sounds harsh but it's not like these Sro folks didn't know He was an active shooter. I realize I'm jumping to conclusion without all the facts and no i was not present but surely someone anyone fill this SOB with 3 or 11 maybe 36 rounds no trial no prison and no chance of a repeat offender.

It’s kinda the same as I’ve got nothing to hide so why do I care. Covid woke me up to what our government is capable of.

I thought I had read that the dad was questioned when the FBI talked to this kid last year and he said that the kid did not have access to his rifles without permission?
Based on what I just saw in the links on his social media, my guess is that the parents were either not keeping tabs on what the kid was posting or the kid is just smarter than they are with social media.
If they had seen the kids postings on social media, then it would be incumbent on them to get him the proper help.
I agree that the red flag laws are a slippery slope because anyone can accuse anyone else of anything they deem mean or violent. Unfortunately, people will lie just for revenge and/or to see someone else in trouble.
