Little off topic but just saw where schools in eufaula are cancelled for tomorrow due to a threat. Crazy chit Find out who made it and put them in jail for 15 yrs. Then you don’t have to worry about anyone getting hurt or whether they were serious about making good on their threat. Problem solved.

They interviewed him and his father about his threats to shoot up a school. Unless there is something that has not been shared with the public, I don't see how the father escapes charges and massive civil suits over this. I have to admit that it makes me angry and disgusted that the father did not get this crap nipped in the bud. The weapon used was an AR platform rifle. After the FBI has interviewed you and your son about your son's threats to commit mass murder, how in the hell do you screw up so bad that your son gets ahold of your AR!? Why in hell do you have ANY guns in your house with this kid, let alone an AR!? Unbelievable level of stupidity and selfishness. I can't imagine how the victim's loved ones must feel about it. There are a lot of questions that still must be answered to get a grasp on this. First in my mind is how did a 14 year old manage to get an AR into school? Surely he did not ride the bus. Surely nobody drove him there with an AR. He must have lived within walking distance and had the rifle hidden near the school. With this kids known mentality, how the hell did his family not prevent that? SMH.

Considering what we know now. I would say its more likely that the FBI checked on the kid to make sure he was on track to, and would, become a mass shooter. They are programming these kids and they are getting better and better at it.

Lord have mercy.... prayers for the dead and their families and those injured,,, 14 years old.... if it didn't really happen I wouldn't believe it.... an AR15 style rifle... never mind the FBI already questioned things a while back they've already flopped it...
I guess the dad taught his kid how to load it charge it and shoot it.... but why did the kid do this... Why ? Mental deficiency disorder of some type .... I wonder if the kid was an avid gamer and played 1st person shooter games on his play station or xbox all the time where killing is just plain the name of the game... these games are still very popular with kids .. also may be the parent just didn't give a dang... if a parent doesn't say something to correct attitude and and activity a kid can think ...I can do what I want my dad ain't gonna do nothing about it...

Even if that disgusting scenario is true, I still don't understand how the father let it happen.

Who in their sane mind gives a kid a firearm after having the FBI come talk to them about the things the kid posted a year ago about wanting to kill people? What the actual bulldoodoo is that?! The parents should have been getting the boy some psychological help instead. Please let us find out that dad is NOT a good ol' southern boy who "just didn't see any harm" in giving is mentally unstable teen a firearm as a gift. Because if he is, then that will give the anti-2A folks even more reason to try to disarm the general populace.
