Five or Ten minutes after I hooked my climber on and went up a tree a big long faced doe with two fawns in tow, walked to within a step or Two of my tree with here nose to my trail all the way in. She stood there at my tree with her nose in the air for a full minute or longer, then settled her fawns down on the ground within 10 yards of me and left the area by herself. I don't know if she somehow knew that her and her fawns were safe with me right there and right then or what. There was absolutely no way that she didn't smell me. She actually followed my scent to my tree. I watched over her fawns for her and a little before dusk she returned for them. I let my bow down, climbed down and went to the truck as soon as they cleared the area. This was in Randolph County about a dozen years ago. Never seen or heard of that before or after that day.

Was coon hunting one night with my brother. He had a red tick (buster) that was pushing 8-9 year old. We knocked out several already when we took out a big boar coon. Had the dog leashed up shooting the breeze and ol buster sticks his nose on the coons pecker. Next thing we know he looks up and his eyes roll back in his head and he falls out… we thought he was dead. Few minutes he comes to, and was fine.. heck if I know..

Forgot to mention the doe had been drug from where it apparently fell dead. You could see where she lay then see the drag marks in the leaves

Bankhead, 2015, get out of truck, bad feeling hits me extremely hard telling me dont go down the trail, go home.i refuse to listen and push myself forward against all instincts.
3/4 mile down old logging road as I slowly stalk hunt i hear loud Asian language. Two of them arguing in the thicket beside me. I pause for a few minutes and it stops. I take a few more steps and they both start talking again so I freeze and they quit. I stand there for a few minutes and nothing. I'm hunting with a 30/06 and get the feeling these things are arguing about what to do with me. I start walking further and they start talking again. I freeze and call out to them and get no answer.
I turn around and went home. Shook me up real bad.it was so loud and deep and powerful.

Seen a ghost on green mountain in Huntsville in 2004. It was a kid that got killed by his dad around 2002. Patrick Popel.
Seen him clear as day on the north side of the road as you begin to go down the back side of the mountain. Scared the daylights out of me and my girlfriend.

Last summer me and my 12yr old son were fishing a swamp on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville behind my house. I have a top notch German Shepherd guard dog. I noticed the woods were dead quiet. Not even a July fly. Crickets m, frogs nothing. After pulling up in the truck and standing beside it fishing for an hour...it's around 1am. Summer.. hot no wind.
We had something on two feet. Walk straight up to us through that swamp. We could hear water dripping off it. It stopped 35yds away and out headlamps wouldn't shine that far. It would stop and listen for a minute then walk towards us and stop and listen.

My buddy had a similar experience in the same general area probably. Swears he heard what sounded like children giggling and talking in a thicket in the middle of nowhere late in the afternoon. Scared the crap out of him he says to this day he doesn't know what it was. This was public land near bank head.
I was sitting in the dark before daylight at oakmulgee many years ago and all of a sudden the woods lit up like daylight. I could see 300 yards thru the woods then it instantly got dark again. Meteor maybe? Also hunting way back on the tnf I saw what appeared to be a shirtless man with no arms walking thru the woods in the middle of nowhere. Weird as hell. How did the guy survive with no arms, my buddy said it was the ghost of a civil war soldier?

About 14-16 years ago, I scouted a part of the Cahaba WMA. That morning I was running late and not a car on the road, speeding through Helena and a police officer pulled me over. They wasted 45 minutes for back up and because I was armed.
I finally got to Pea Ridge to check in and my spot was taken, so I went to another one to set up. That morning at dawn, shots were going off at sunlight and about 150 yards away across the road someone got a good one. About 5 minutes later somebody yelled, "MF'er, you shot my deer!" Followed by 8 rounds being spent a couple of rifle shots and a bunch of screaming.
I loaded my stuff up and left the woods in the opposite direction. Sheriff's department came in and they blocked off the road checking pistols and asking what people heard. I have no idea if somebody got shot or not, but that was the last time I ever hunted a FREE WMA.

Used to live in some apartments on hwy 280 many years ago and went back in the woods behind it hoping to scout out a bow hunting spot and found a place on a ridge top that had all the leaves raked away in a big perfect circle and there were condoms and bits of toilet paper laying all around. Figured it was a swinger.spot or devil worship orgy spot

Back several years ago I was on a hot gobbler that was screaming at everything but hadnt come off roost yet I decided to slip in a bit closer when this thing comes gliding through the woods and when it did I completely forgot about the turkey and everything else except what I was seeing This thing was 8'-10' tall and about 3'-4' in diameter from top to bottom It was translucent like Saran Wrap and was moving through the flat weaving its way through the trees I couldnt tell if it was walking or floating but its movement was smooth and deliberate It wasnt a foggy morning or rainy The sun was up and it was a clear day People report this to David Paulades on missing 411 and on Sasquatch Chronicles

Was hunting in a club outside Vernon in Lamar County. Had several gas wells on the property. The last gas well on the property was in what is best described as an "odd" area. Everyone that hunted it always commented how you just felt weird when going to hunt that area of the club. My wife and I went one afternoon to hunt there. Had to walk down this fairly steep hill to get to the swampy bottom area. There was a fire break you could walk for probably 800 yards on the left and a nice oak flat just off a pine thicket to the right. Great area. Walking down the hill we keep hearing this buzzing sound kind of like a humming bird or a large bee fluttering around. You could hear it flying in a large circle through the woods and across the trail down below us. It sounds weird, but you could watch it's path circling just by hearing it. Louder, then quieter as it made it's circle, but you couldn't see it. When we got down closer, just by where it was flying, we both got close enough to where we could feel the buzz in our chest, but never once saw what it was. We walked down into the circle and could feel it circling and feel the buzz on our chest and backs, like it was pulsating. Once it was on it's way away from us, we walked on down, but could still hear the buzzing and circling down in the oak flat about 60 yards away. A doe came down the hill on that same trail a little before 4, but when she got to the buzzing circling sound, she about turned inside out getting out of there. Never blew or snorted, just jumped up a couple feet, stumbled and took off like a rocket. The sound started dying down and finally quit. We walked out at dark and didn't hear it on the way out.

Guys, it is not advisable to hit the shrooms before venturing into the woods.

a dead guy that committed suicide by climbing a ladder and hanging himself.
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....
