I clear cut a few acres of land and I keep finding pieces of glass and pottery as I walk around the property, especially where an old house place was located. How do I find someone to age the glass and pieces of pottery I've found? I would think some of the pieces I've found are old plates or cups. Just pieces. Some of it looks pretty old.

Send me a few pics of the stuff you found. I'll tell you. Give me a pin point location and I can probly find a picture of the building on a map.

Kids had a blast when they were young metal detecting around an old home that was said to be burned during the civil war on the property we owned in Faunsdale.

That's my favorite war to study up on. So had to find military relics from that war.

If you find blue ware porcelain you know it is old. I see pieces of it all over the roads at Cahawba. That and pieces of thick, bubbly, black glass.

Clear proof that the Clorox Stump is a time-tested method of helping wildlife and killing deer!

Used the be a spot at my childhood home where when it would rain there would be blue glass and pieces of plates to come out of the ground
My grandfather owned this land forever so we had no clue where it was coming from
Dad said someone way back may have had a root cellar there

I found this bottle at my camp in our driveway, camp has been there over 30 years and we had a bunch of rain and I saw the lip of the bottle, I just thought it was some glass, i dug the whole thing out intact, says 1906 on the bottom!

Nice! Most of mine I have no Idea how to age but the majority are old soda bottles. I got a couple I have never heard of so they were before my time. I need to snap a pic or 2
