I hate to report that he passed away last night shortly after arriving at UAB via life flight. I am told he was tackled, hit his head on the ground very hard. Got up and got to the sidelines and collapsed.

Yes very terrible. A parent and coach's worst nightmare. How does someone recover from losing a child I will never know. By the grace of God is the only way. Breaks my heart.
