In the Morgan Academy vs Southern Academy football game earlier this evening, Morgan player, Caden Tellier, suffered a head injury. Dr. Richard Johnson, a local surgeon, whose son is a teammate, went on the field to provide treatment and immediately realized it was more than a concussion. He made the call for Lifeflight to transport to UAB. At last posting, Caden was in emergency surgery in critical condition being treated for a brain bleed. The family has strong Christian beliefs and I know they will appreciate any and all prayers. I’ll update as I hear news via Facebook.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
