Had a game warden in our loop of friends years ago tell us that feeding turkey was a bad thing. His explanation was that having them come to the location and feed/poop would cause other birds to feed/poop and then lead to excessive disease exposure. Then turkeys would dieā¦. I never thought anything about it bc I never fed/feed them.
