I want a very good quality non stick skillet. Like Teflon non stick, but not Teflon. Does the Hexclad fit that description? How long have you had yours and how is it holding up?

Look up Green Pan ceramic skillets. We were happy with the one we had. I think it eventually got torn up or wore out but it did well. I don’t know what the brand is we have now but it’s not as nice.

Seriously , Look at the high end Walmart sells, it's called Thyme & Table. They're a direct clone of some of those high end , high $ pans.

I've had a complete set of hexclad for a few years now. They stick more than they used to. They cook like cast when we first got them.

I have a full set of hexclad, it'll put a hard sear crust on a steak and cook eggs without sticking.

We have one. It has been pretty good, but definitely sticks more now than it did. It’s probably 2 years old

Hexclad is coated with PTFE, which is the generic chemical abbreviation for Teflon.
I won’t own a single nonstick pan ever again due to PFOA/PFAS.

We’ve actually (in the last two years) swapped over to ceramics. No they won’t last as long, but if you’ll keep the heat down they last a good while. They’re great while they are working. I use ceramic and cast pans pretty much exclusively now. Don’t laugh but some TJ maxs have good ceramic and lodge cast iron too.

Hex clad sucks we have one of the Gordon Ramsey endorsed ones and it has "sticked" since day one. We just bout a cheap ninja brand to replace it and so far it has been the best non-stick skillet that we have owned.

I'm the opposite. I love my Hexclad. The secret is to spray the pan before every use. I use buttered flavored Pam. I can cook eggs just like the commercial. When done, just tilt the pan and they slide right onto the plate. Best part, dishwasher safe. Making chicken fried steak in mine tonight.

Good stainless pans like All Clad can be non stick if you know what your doing. Correct; and never need replacing. The only "good" cooks that use non-stick are getting paid to use it.

Just spread olive oil on bottom of pan . Then dust it with flour . Dump out extra flour . Will never stick if ur baking . Good for breads, biscuits or cakes . Wont work if ur frying

Buy All Clad stainless and you will never need to replace it. Some of my All Clad is going on 20 years now and still cooks the same as the day I bought it. Buy once, cry once.
