Looks like the Dems got a pre-filed bill on the docket calling for "Assault" weapon owners to have a "permit" for them. https://www.wsfa.com/2024/08/09/alabama-bill-would-require-permits-assault-weapons/

Not a very good 2A advocate. No he is not. He needs to be questioned, corrected, and replaced.

After reading about this bill (HB23) just days ago...I sent emails to my reps here in my district even though their all dems.... I'm a conservative surrounded by a lot of libs..... I know the emails may not even get read past the first paragraph but sent them any way,,, I watched a you tube vid last night that reported this bill and the reporter says ,,, the bill is expected to be dead upon arrival.... .... a similar bill back some time ago was dead upon arrival as well... said the dude that presented it must not know he's in Alabama...
