I’ll try to make this as short as I can, got to camper and had zero power, 12v bought last year flat dead. I check cables going to battery and get nada. So I think converter has went bad. My camper has shore power wired straight to pole on a 30amp breaker that runs inside and hits another 30/20 breaker I flip it off and back on and it sparks and my converter kicks on but cuts back off but that breaker kept making popping sounds so I cut it back off and also went ahead and just killed my main at pole. I’m going ahead and ordering a converter but does that breaker inside sound like it’s going bad? Or what’s it’s issue.

First thing I would do is see if the breaker stays on with the converter disconnected.

Valid point, I’ll check that when I change out the converter. I’ve went ahead and ordered one. Simply because of the battery being dead and no voltage to the battery from the cables from converter.

I’ll honestly probably go ahead and change converter and the breaker just incase it’s gotten weak. But being the breaker that’s coming from the pole from 30 to inside I don’t see how it could’ve overloaded unless the converter was trying to work and surging. Unless I’m thinking of this totally wrong.

You can disconect the convertor and check resistance from hot to ground.

This is why I always just pull the battery and disconnect from shore power if I’m not going to be there for a while.

I don't remember what issues I was having but I pulled my converter to replace it and found blown fuse on backside of it, replaced it and problems went away. Probably not your problem but worth checking.

Not much chance of a “weak” breaker but it won’t hurt anything to change it. I’d look at the busbar closely and make sure it’s not pitted.
