Anyone see the booth with the "barrel extensions" and fuel filters? Saw that and looked around, there seemed to be someone closely watching everyone standing there. Are these illegal to own?

Dang, there sure is a lot of hate for the show on here. I have never been but have friends and family that go and enjoy the whole weekend every year. Must not be too terrible.

Ive gone every year for about the last 10-12 years. I enjoy just the atmosphere, I bought an Eddie Salter call, enjoyed talking to him. Several different tractor and attachments I looked at. A lot of fluff that doesnt belong at a hunting show but that doesnt bother me. I always buy the early deal tickets so it’s about 5 bucks to get in, Never pay to park, dont mind walking. I just enjoy being around hunting in any form. I do stay away from the Buckmasters sham in Montgomery. I made the mistake of signing up for the give-aways and it took me years to get them to stop calling—-NEVER AGAIN!!

It was fun 30 years ago. Lots of new products entering market and could get good deals on stuff. Those days are over. Word is the jackass that runs it charges the vendors way to much for the space, charges people to much to come in!!
Hunting brings out the worst in people.

I went today, but bought the tickets early like Happysappy mentioned (ended up only being $5 to get in that way). There were TONS of people there, and tons of booths. I’d say most were hunting related. Maybe 15% were not. Anyway, I walked through the whole place and ended up buying an orange hat with a built in green LED for $5. That’s all I bought. It was entertaining though! 😎

Went there back in 2001. Met an outfitter who ran hunts in Alberta who seemed to be legit so I gave him my number and told him to call if he had a cancellation. He called, I went for $2K and killed my biggest buck.
I lot of bull doodoo down there but some good deals occasionally.
