I hate to ask - but, will everyone on this team actually hunt this year? If so - how many times do you expect to hunt and what would you say your chances of killing a deer this year are?
I know it may sound like a stupid/butthole question, but I've been on teams that only a couple of the members of the team actually went in the woods. To be honest - I feel better about it just to have all the members of the team check-in.
RollTide92 - 15+ hunts this year Myself - 25+ hunts this year
Chances are very good that we will both kill deer and at least one of us killing a nice buck.

Lord willing I hunt every weekend from opening morning to January 31. I take a week plus off in January to hunt the rut. I usually kill a few does a year in bow season then its big bucks only for me. I have been blessed the last several years with some good'uns so I hope I can keep that streak alive.
Been on several squads where only 2 people actually hunted and that stunk.

I will be in the woods every day I'm off. I work 4days Then off 3 days one week and the next week I work 3 days then off 4 days. I got plenty of time to hunt and alot of vacation days and sick time waitin to get burned. According to accuweather it's suppose to be 38 degrees opening morning of bow season. Gonna be some fur flyin. As far as names go I'm good with anything. If I had to pick I'd say crosshair crusaders because I got a new howa 1500 308 with a od green hogue stock that I'm ready to let bark.

We plant all our green fields about a month ago. Every field Is about 4 to 6 inches tall. This last rain we had helped out alot. We had clay peas planted over the summer and they devoured them.

We planted on September 16 and they are looking good. We have had several good rains to help them out.

Note the date. What does everyone think of the front buck. I have tons of pics from him last year as a 17'' wide 3 year old 8point. Im hoping he grew some more before shedding this year. I pulled the camera as soon as he showed up and i set a stand just for opening morning. One in the back i think is a 3 year old that i have pics of from last year. Cant wait to see what he does next year as he will get the pass this year.

Good looking deer, I bet he grew several more inches before shedding. All my pics showed deer shedding in the last 2 weeks of September so he probably got another month plus of growing.
