So apparently all of Houston is without power and those morons are shooting at the guys trying to get the power back on.... what a bunch of IDOTS... Color me shocked

Not all of Houston is without power. My Aunt and her surrounding areas got their power back a day and a half after the storm. There are some areas that are without power still. I just spoke to her and she said things are slowly getting back to normal. As far as people shooting at the linemen , she said she's only heard of one incident.

"They say the same thing in Baton Rouge but if you look at New Orleans it looks like they went back home. Place seems to be about the same as it was before Katrina.

I know a couple 30 plus aged Linemen here in East Alabama. When they have to leave and do disaster Repair they pack HEAT.....Short barreled Winchester 94's or Marlins in 30-30 or 44 Magnum.....just in case.

Here's th' SKINNY on a LOT of th' KNEE-GARS around Houston: I went to Houston back in 2013 to build a Project. First week my truck got broken into.....they took a flat screwdriver and popped the lock....truck was parked in motel parking lot. Deputy came and wrote up report. Said when Katrina hit they bussed a bunch of those animals over to the Houston area and a lot of them never went back home. Said those Nawlins' One's were waaaaay worse than the locals about stealing, killing,etc. They say the same thing in Baton Rouge but if you look at New Orleans it looks like they went back home. Place seems to be about the same as it was before Katrina. It doesn’t take long to build the population back up, they’re very proficient breeders.
