Hate to say it but the secret service failed not having that elevated position addressed. Someone needs to be held accountable. Complete failure by the Secret Service or they are complicit and allowed it to happen, which is doubtful. If the shooter was a better shot, Trump would be dead. A pro would not have missed. Under no circumstances should the shooter have had access to that rooftop, no way

Got himself, a gun, and ammo on a rooftop within 300yds of the podium
That doesn’t just happen And people saw him and were yelling to the police to come investigate a guy on the roof with a rifle and they weren't interested.

That bullet came within an inch of taking trump out.
What’s crazy is that’s within the accuracy of an ar platform.
A good AR will shoot 1.5” at 100yds. The fact it was a 200-300yd shot meant a that bullet could have easily impacted within a 3-5” circle. Just a fraction of that in the other direction and we could have had an entirely different outcome.

It doesn’t throw up flags….it tells me exactly what went down. Again, a person, gun, and ammo making it to an elevated line of sight within 200yds tells me all I need to know.
