You just can't decide one day that your animal is a service or emotional support animal . There is forms and doctors visits you have to go through. Course it abused
That just isn't accurate per the law.
May not be legal, but it happens. My niece (flaming liberal, not my fault) downloaded a "certificate" for her "emotional support dog" (zero training, worthless POS dog) and the owners of the apartment she wanted to rent were required to accept it, and they couldn't ask for medical proof of an issue because of HIPAA regulations.
I told her that was wrong, and her attitude was "but I got away with it"
