There is a thought for the day.

Surely there is a simple way to distinguish between an actual service animal (seeing eye dog) and an emotional support alligator. A nice obvious badge that everybody understands. That badge gives a legitimate animal permission to go into human spaces, like stores and restaurants.

Why did something like this become a problem anyway?

Who is it a problem for?

I have a 7 month old goldendoodle that’s an emotional support dog
He has me emotionally angry all the time
He smart and learns quickly but is in that chewing stage that drives me absolutely insane

There’s a guy with a big shaggy sheep dog that’s famous on tick tok and YouTube. I saw an interview the other day where he said he was a “support” animal. He had the dog at a hockey game. If you have to have a 60lb dog to go to a hockey game then maybe you don’t need to go anyway…..
I love animals, but I wouldn’t want to sit next to one at a concert, game, airplane or restaurant.

It really is a sad day for the human race when we require an animal to give us "emotional support". Take your emotional support animal and go to the store and get the cigarettes, beer, vape, dip, energy drink, weed and whatever else it takes for you to just get up and get through a day. Not to mention the handfull of pharmaceuticals it takes every day just to survive. God bless america, home of the dependant

I’m in favor or getting rid of both except for the blind.

That goes for any emotionally weak veteran, I’m supportive for the blind or severely physically disabled only.

If you are in need of a support animal, get rid of your vehicle and get a mule to carry your sissy azz to the grocery store.

I was in Baton Rouge this past weekend. I saw numerous animals (reptiles, racoon, and possums) in human spaces. That is normal for Louisiana but normal also includes those animals being cooked and eaten even if they are currently living. That is normal.

Abnormal and wrong is a raccoon on a leash in a Dillards. That sh1t has got to stop.
A 5 foot long monitor lizard on a leash in Walmart crosses the line.
A box turtle sharing a meal with its owner while resting in her ugly heavily tattooed cleavage in a po-poy restaurant just aint phuckin right!

I know several veterans with emotional support dogs and have no problem with it.

I understand, there are Vets that vote for Biden too.

Seen a veteran on Birminghams Southside with her German Shepard support dog she tends to wear hats to cover up her head wound scars. Dogs quiet composed and well behaved but get within 8 feet of her with your BS of democratic socialism metoo ism and you may find yourself as added protein to the dogs diet. Have no idea what she did in the service just know she served overseas for 11 years til she was injured.

99% of the people love and enjoy my lab here at work. He ain't a service animal, he's just a good pup that i hate leaving at home alone. He's cleaner than the home schoolers that destroy our meeting room/bathroom every wednesday and the janitor said she had no problem vacuuming every night as long as he was coming to the office. He's helped many people when they come in. Until my county director/state director or county commissioner tells me other, imma keep bringing him.

Good for you. A good dog brightens the day. The uptick in animals in public is likely because people need a ray of light in a darkening world. I've got no issue with it if the dog is well behaved. The problem will be that because there is zero common sense, we'll have the obnoxious pit bulls, pet gofers, etc. out soon.

I 100% support dogs for the blind, veterans, autistic children.... But I can't stand the ease of which everyone decided it was OK to haul their animals all over the country on airplanes. When I was flying every week, I would hope and pray that I wasn't going to get some yapping, farting, air sick animal on my flight!

Nothing quite like a good, stout dog fart on an airplane.

In all seriousness, I'd rather sit by most dogs on an airplane compared to many of the people nowadays.

First of all, not one of your statements have anything to do with the topic and secondly, if you're actually STUPID enough to think an emotional support dog can't help PTSD/Anxiety/panic attacks, you got it bad lol.
