The fact that Chet Atkins isn't in the top 10 and Dickey Betts nor Mark Knopfler are even on the list makes me believe whoever pulled this list out of their anus has no credibility what so ever. Hard to argue the top 5. All great and influential guitarists.
Clapton is way too low and is top 10 IMO.
Roy Clark should definitely be on the list.
Joni Mitchell top 10??? GMAFB. If they feel like they have to put a woman in the top 10, Bonnie Raite would be far more deserving.
Nile Rodgers couldn't carry Robert Johnsons pick.
Angus Young has been playing kick ass guitar as long as anyone.
And where in the he'll is Uncle Ted? I was thinking Chet should be a lot higher, he was smooth. Then, I didn't see Roy. What about Joe Bonamassa and Joe Walsh or country Ricky Scaggs and Glen Campbell would at least need to be top 50.
