the best guitarist alive, is tim henson. He looks faggy and I dont like his music. But he is without a doubt the most talented. The dude has crazy autistic skills that causes his music to sound weird to us. But he can play anyone's style as good as them. They cannot mimic his music though

If Knopfler isn’t on the list, the list is worthless.

Lot of good ones on the list. Peter Frampton should be on there as one of the best.

The fact that Derek Trucks didn’t make the list just goes to show that the list is more of a popularity contest than a showing of talent. I’m also unsure why Joni Mitchell is in the top 10??? If its because she plays acoustic, then where is James Taylor? I’m still shaking my head.

Jimmy Page is my all time favorite. He’s been an incredible, skilled guitarist for decades and has stood the test of time. Billy Strings is a close second. Watching him live is some of the best concerts I’ve ever seen.

J D Simo is very good also.

Roy Clark was probably a better true guitarist than 90% of that list.

Too many variables to say who is the "best," and lot of good ones have been mentioned here.

A little bit out of left field, but if you want to see someone play blazingly fast, check out Chris Impellitteri's 17th Century Chicken Pickin'.

Tony Rice and Doc Watson. Both of them could burn the strings off of an acoustic guitar. And I'm partial to Bluegrass.
