Keep ours around 71-72 during the day and turn it down to 68-69 at night. I don’t care what the bill is that’s why I work. I want to be comfortable when I’m at home.

I keep mine at 80 in the summer…bout a 70 in the winter…never have bills over $190…..it’s usually fat people or folks who work inside that have an issue….yall wouldn’t make it if we went back in time 150 years…blankets an winders…or the miracle of the electric fan. I love the heat…im in it most days…and not twidlin my thumbs niether. It’s easy when you don’t know what you’re missing. I asked my grandfather one time what did they do before ac when it got up to 100. He said we got in the creek. Lol.

Just looked at mine, I've got 7 days left and my bill is going to be right at $300 this month. In this heat, looks like we avg roughly $10 day usage. We keep ours at 72 Summer/Winter.

I have always heard the A?C can only lower the outside ambient air temp by about 20 degrees, no matter how low the thermostat is...Anyone else heard this?
Point being - if it is 96/ outside with 105 degree heat index it isn't going to be able to cool below 20 degrees from outside temp.....
No expert- not an HVAC guy, just passing along... That’s about par for this rental I’m in and it sucks. My temp gun says exterior walls are 80* right now and interior are 76*. I know there’s poor insulation in this box.

My house HVAC is very poorly designed and we struggle to stay below 75 on really hot days and our bill is always $4-500 in the summer.

If they really want to help take away some of the many raises they got in the last 2 years
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts,hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!
