I love em, but if you aren't a big fan of shrimp, they can be a bit much. The key is to definitely not over cook them. Any shrimp that is overcooked turns to mush. Biggest mistake most restaurants make on shrimp

You steam royal reds. And not for very long. They are delicious.

I’m allergic to Iodine and therefore I can’t eat shellfish. I’ve been told that Royal Reds are a deep water shrimp and don’t have Iodine, or as much. My bodies reaction to shellfish is to flush it out as quickly as possible once it reaches my Intestinal Tract. About an unpleasant of a reaction as you can imagine so I’m not willing to try the Royal Reds based on what I heard. I did love shrimp before the allergy developed in my early 20s so if that is true I would love to know for sure.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
