How did she find out about this debt? Are you sure it is legitimate?
What we'll be finding out next week one way or another . I'll sue them into the ground if I need too .
It may be that other banks just do not know why she has a debt at one that is not them. I suspect that if she knows what banking institutions she has used in the past and calls until she gets the one that has the debt that they can tell her what it is for - my hunch would be unpaid NSF fees or something similar.
