He runs through the yard all the time howling and barking at nothing. He lives across the street and I really don’t have any complaints other than it won’t shut up when I’m trying to sleep since I’m a night shift worker. He don’t even crap in my yard, not that I’ve noticed anyway. The owner hasn’t introduced himself yet and I’ve been here since last July…all I know is he likes to drink and squirrel hunt…I ain’t gonna hurt the little guy cause he’s just doing what he’s supposed to do, it just gets a little bit much.

My neighbor had beagles that he kept penned up at least two, don't know why he had them, never did anything with them. They barked all day. Well they got loose couple weeks ago and have not come back, does not hurt my feelings. I am sure some one has taken them in given them a good home

Only negative about Beagles, but that is just their nature. Great dogs otherwise.

I thought it was southern edicate for the neighbors to welcome the new neighbor and make the first move. I take it your the new neighbor in which case yeah I would just quietly get rid of the dog

Could be worse. I get to listen to a dozen or so coon dogs next door. Thank gawd they are200-300 yards away.

I love living where I do, try to move to some acreage. I like beagles but they will go a distance when unrestrained. Congratulations on submitting a new word for the ALDeer dictionary. Approval is pending… I nominate Abolt for editor.
